Key observations:

The overview of Schiphol’s approach to corporate responsibility emphasizes that creating value for the company’s stakeholders is integral.

The report goes on to explain the complexity of divergent stakeholder needs, and how the company manages stakeholder engagement through policies and activities. Additionally, the report identifies the company’s target stakeholders for the Annual Report, addresses how feedback was obtained, and provides an explanation of the outcomes of the stakeholder engagement process.

An accompanying materiality matrix shows the material topics considered, measured by the interests of stakeholders and those of the Schiphol Group. Those issues that are of high interest to both the Group and stakeholders are reviewed in a more detailed table on page 61, which summarizes material themes, metrics used to monitor progress and related partnerships.  The Annual Report uses hyperlinks to point readers to other sections of the report for more detailed information.
